قالت في وقت مبكر: نفسي أشوف الكاكي عليك.
لم أفطن أنني اشتريت من بيروت زيا بهذا اللون في دورة الكوادر التي
أقيمت في سوق الغرب صيف 1973 في مدرسة بيت إسعاد الطفولة وأسميتها دورة رالف دخ
لإعجابي بذلك الألماني على ما أظن. لا فقد كنت نسيتها وتذكرت لقائي الأول بحسان
شقيق غسان. ولم أعلق رغم معرفتي بأن حبها الأول كان مع شاب لايرتدي الكاكي وإنما
بنطلون جينز و يعلق في رقبته سنسالا من الذهب يشير لديانته. وعندما زرنا دمشق سويا
لأول مرة ، أقصد سويا أي متزوجين ولدينا أطفال، تذكرت رغبتها المبكرة فاشتريت
لنفسي زيا عسكريا بل وكاكي غامق وليس كاكيا فاتحا. وهكذا أكون حققت لها ما تمنته
رغم أنها قرأت بناء على توجيهي لها قصة (الحرب) للويجي بيراندلو. ولما وقعت حرب
أخرى كان الكاكي لايزال في بيتي في الكويت . و زوجتي تحبني جدا جدا لكنني لم أمت
بعد.

She said very early: I wish see you dressed in Khaki.
I did not remember that I had purchased
from Beirut a uniform with such color in the cadres cycle held in Souk Algharb (West market) in the summer of
1973 in a school house (Bait Isaad Altofoulah) which I called Ralph Dakh since
I admired that German person's name as I think. No, I have not remembered but I
have not forgotten my first meeting with Hassan; Ghassan's brother. I Did not
comment despite knowing that her first love was with a young but not dressed in
khaki. He was dressed with jeans and hanging in his neck a catenary of gold that
refers to his religion. When we visited Damascus together for the first time, I
mean married together and we have children, I remembered her early desire for
me to be dressed in Khaki, so I bought me a military uniform darker khaki than
that of Beirut .. Thus, I have achieved what she had desired for a long time, although
she had read according to my guiding her, the story of (war) by Luigi Berandlo .
As another war occurred, the khaki uniform was still in our house in Kuwait.
And my wife loves me very, very much, but I did not die yet.
